The thought of looking for a new home can be quite daunting.
What shall I expect to pay?
What does an AST mean?
Who do I contact if I have a problem?
Just a few of the many questions that you start to ask when considering either moving out of the family home for the first time, or moving on due to a change in your personal circumstances.
The 4you team will make the move as easy and stress free as possible from start to finish.
Once you have chosen your new home, you will be required to pay a deposit and an application fee. Upon completion of the checks, which include a Right to Rent check (if applicable) credit check, employment and earnings check and landlord check, you can choose a date to move.
Your deposit is placed in a secure scheme, the Deposit Protection Service, and will be returned to you at the end of your tenancy providing you have cared for the property and paid your utility bills.
All details about the scheme are available at www.depositprotectionservice.com
In order to protect your deposit should you have an accident in the home and damage the landlords possessions, Tenant Liability Insurance is required. If you are unfortunate enough to have an accident, then a claim on the policy would help towards you receiving your full deposit back.
Any repair problems can be reported via email to the office and dealt with promptly.
